A Family Passion That Became a National Brand

Our story began in the Otway Ranges, where the Tucker family owned and operated a sawmill. From a young age, Lindsay Tucker developed a passion for working with timber — a passion that grew into a lifelong career. Known for his craftsmanship and attention to detail, Lindsay earned respect throughout the industry, including with the Australian Timber Flooring Association (ATFA) and countless builders, renovators, and design professionals.

In 1993, Lindsay and Roslyn Tucker opened their first timber flooring showroom, showcasing the warmth and character of natural timber. With over 15 years already in the flooring industry, Lindsay wanted to create a space dedicated to helping people see and feel the difference that quality timber can make. Their sons, Matthew and Darren, joined soon after, and together the Tucker family now share over 100 years of combined experience.
